چکیده

Stimulation of Toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2) on epidermal keratinocytes results in the tightening cell–cell junctions between keratinocytes; therefore, appropriate agonists for TLR2 could be promising ingredients cosmetics. However, a method to produce significant amounts soluble using materials that are suitable preparing cosmetics has not yet been developed. In this study, we tried identify lactic acid bacterial strains and media fermentation obtain from traditional fermented foods natural food sources. We found Lactobacillus delbrueckii subsp. lactis TL24 (TL24) combination hot water extracts asparagus edible stem cow skimmed milk were best strain culture medium, respectively, purpose. The ferments effectively stimulated HEK293 reporter cells expressing human their surface also inhibited paracellular molecular transfer cell sheet primary keratinocytes. Since these effects suppressed by anti-TLR2 neutralizing antibodies, it is proposed elicit via TLR2. Taken together, suggest containing potential

Decreased Levels of Soluble Toll-Like Receptor 2 in Patients with Asthma

Background: Recently, reports have indicated a role for the membrane form of Toll-like Receptor 2 (TLR2) in asthma pathogenesis. In this study we examined soluble TLR2 levels in serum and sputum of asthmatic and healthy subjects. Methods: Serum and sputum samples were obtained from 33 asthmatic and 19 healthy subjects. The asthmatics were classified into four groups according to the Global I...

Fermentation of fructooligosaccharides by lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria.

Lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria were screened of their ability to ferment fructooligosaccharides (FOS) on MRS agar. Of 28 strains of lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria examined, 12 of 16 Lactobacillus strains and 7 of 8 Bifidobacterium strains fermented FOS. Only strains that gave a positive reaction by the agar method reached high cell densities in broth containing FOS.

Update in bread fermentation by lactic acid bacteria

The lactic fermentation of cereals improves the food quality through the development of flavor, enhancement of the nutritional value and shelf life, and by removing toxic or antinutritional factors of food products. Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) strains are able to improve the shelf life of several food products. The efficiency of the LAB cultures determined in in vitro assays was confirmed in bre...

Toll-like receptor 2 agonists exacerbate accelerated nephrotoxic nephritis.

Glomerulonephritis can be exacerbated by infection. This study investigated the effect of N-palmitoyl-S-(2,3-bis(palmitoyloxy)-(2R,S)-propyl)-(R)-cysteinyl-seryl-(lysyl)3-lysine (Pam3CysSK4), a synthetic Toll-like receptor 2 (TLR2) ligand, that was given at immunization on disease severity in accelerated nephrotoxic nephritis. Stimulation of TLR by microbial constituents is known to influence t...
